Seeking to further push experimentation, Jérôme Lefevre started a mico-negoce in 2017 called Champagne Jérôme Lefevre. At the far western edge of Champagne’s Marne Valley, Jérôme Lefevre is quietly redefining what contemporary Champagne can be.

A former art critic and curator turned grower-producer, Lefevre farms just 1.5 hectares organically by hand, deeply influenced by the natural farming principles of Masanobu Fukuoka (no tilling, no pesticides, no fertilizer, no weeding, no pruning).

His wines move between two worlds: Champagne Delalot, focused on terroir and precision, and Jérôme Lefevre, a more experimental project inspired by art, music, oxidation, texture.

Production remains tiny, the wines intensely personal, and each cuvée feels closer to an artwork than a formulaic release. Maison Jérôme Lefevre remains one of the most compelling under-the-radar projects in Champagne today - balancing old-vine farming, minimal intervention, artistic instinct, and a refusal to follow trends.
